Thank you for visiting our site. Firstly, we would like to inform you that the website owned by Plagiat.pl sp. z o.o. collects and processes your personal data. This document specifies the rules and purposes of processing of this data and describes how we abide by your laws and how you may pursue them.

The website is operated by Plagiat.pl sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Gdańska 2/67, 01-633 Warsaw (“Plagiat.pl”), which is the Administrator of your personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”). How do we process your personal data?

Your personal data provided on the website during your visits and in the course of electronic communication are processed to pursue our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), i.e. to:

- Answer questions asked by e-mail or the contact form at StrikePlagiarism.com, including questions and issues concerning our operations, as well as to manage other communications with you;

- Use anonymous data from internet markers (cookies) to analyze traffic on our Website;

- Send commercial information about our own products and services, if you are interested in such products and services.

If you decide to create a User Account on the Website or to order a service, we will process your personal data for the purposes and to the extent necessary for the proper performance of a contract concluded by you with Plagiat.pl (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). In such case the refusal to provide the data required to enter into a contract results in the incapacity to perform it.

What data do we process?

When you visit StrikePlagiarism.com, you leave your IP address. IP may indicate country, city or other geographic area where a device is located as well as the browsing path on our website and your browser data. We collect this data automatically, but you may block part of it in the browser’s settings.

If you create a User Account on the Website, you will provide us with your name, surname and e-mail, and when you decide to order a paid service, also the data required to make or identify payment and issue an invoice (address, operation number).

It is you who decides on the data provided to us by e-mail and the contact form.

We do not use your data for profiling and other automatic decision-making.

How long are we planning to store your data?

We will store the data no longer than 6 years from the end of the year they were received in, for this is our planned retention period for communication, unless a specific reason for further processing thereof appears (e.g. you decide to register an account and order a service on our website) or the purpose of processing changes.

When you order a service, we will store your data also to settle the service, fulfill tax and accounting obligations, service complaints and defend from potential claims. If the purpose of processing is to change, we will notify you thereof in accordance with the GDPR.

How to delete your data?

In order to delete your account registered on the StrikePlagiarism.com website, please use the "Delete" option available on the user's account in the "Edit user data" tab. 

Such an instruction may also be submitted in writing. To do this, send a message confirming the intention to delete the account along with the documents on it to the e-mail address: contact (at) StrikePlagiarism.com. The message should be sent from the form available in the "Help" tab on the user's account. If you send a message via another channel, the Customer Service Department may ask you to send a message from your account for verification purposes. 

Your rights

You have the following rights:

- right to access your data and receive a copy thereof;

- right to rectify your data;

- right to request erasure of data;

- right to request limitation of data processing;

- right to object to data processing and portability.

- right to withdraw the consent at any time.

If you have doubts concerning the compliance of the processing of your personal data with the law, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw or in your country.

Where do we keep your data?

Data obtained from the Website are located in an external hosting service (the server hosting the Website) located within the European Economic Area. In extraordinary circumstances, for instance during failures, the data may be entrusted to our IT service providers. Anonymous data concerning traffic on our Website (i.e. cookies) may also be entrusted to our marketing agency. Currently such data is provided to Google within the Google Analytics service. Where you registered using your Facebook account, selected anonymous analytic data have automatically been provided to Facebook operator. If you register and order a paid service, you provide your data, required to complete the payment, to the selected payment operator (by our agency), and to us the data required to issue an invoice.
